Danish Cotton Pot Holders – At first Dorte’s Danish grandmother knitted colorful dishcloths and kitchen towels. When the last of Dorte’s grandmother’s knitted dishcloths wore out and her grandmother was no longer here to make them, Dorte picked up the knitting needles and made them herself. More and more people wanted them and when Dorte could not keep up with demand, she found a way to make them using a knitting machine. Today these pot holders are machine knitted in India using super soft thick 100% OEKO-tex certified cotton or 100% ORGANIC Cotton and a fabulous rainbow of colors! These pot holders are made with a heavy garter stitch in India to coordinate with the Solwang dishcloths and Solwang Kitchen Towels. Wash before first use as surplus color may occur. Each one measures 8.6"x8.6"x.2". Please see the other Solwang products that we stock.
